QCAA-aligned Senior Lessons

Mighty Minds have developed a suite of senior resources that are directly aligned to the new syllabus documents.

Each question requires an extended written response, which means that students have the opportunity to practise their writing skills, while also engaging with subject matter. These activities have been written by senior subject-specialist teachers and they are an invaluable revision tool for all Queensland students and teachers.

Explicit links are provided to syllabus objectives, subject matter and Cognitive Skills

Definitions are provided for relevant Cognitive Skills

Required knowledge is outlined so that students are aware of what they need to know in order to answer the question

Students can view steps to complete the question and a checklist which outlines what they need to include to gain the top-level response

Students can view detailed, step-by-step model responses

There is an inbuilt self-peer- and teacher-marking system which is based on the Mighty Minds Cognitive Skills proficiency scales

Activities are available for over 20 senior subjects and counting!

Unit coverage

Currently, we have activities available for Units 1 and 2 with plans to release activities for Units 3 and 4 in the coming months.
